An inline 4-cylinder engine comes standard on most other models. Potential buyers have to be careful because, as mentioned earlier, there are lots of different models and trim levels to choose from, not to mention the plethora of options which can make the price jump in a hurry.

Predictable
On the road, the 2009 Chevy Colorado does little to surprise the driver. Notwithstanding the turning circle that's almost as large as a moving truck's, it handles quite easily and offers amazing comfort for this kind of vehicle.

The 2009 Chevy Colorado is more modern and more refined.

When driving on bumpy roads, even with an empty box, the suspension has no problem soaking up road imperfections, although the rear axle jolts a little. Still, the ride is much more stable and composed than rivals. Even in tighter corners, the Colorado proudly holds the road, suffering from no body roll or sway like its yacht-sized counterparts.

But as comfortable and competent as the Colorado may be on the road, it still costs thousands more than competitors. Add a couple of options and the price will likely scare you off.

Sure, the Chevy Colorado is more modern and more refined, but the truth is that it currently offers less bang for your buck.
